Robyn Oliver

I grew up in the Columbia Valley, and returned to Invermere, BC to teach Art at David Thompson Secondary School in 2004.  After teaching 17 years in the public school system, I opened a pottery studio with a good friend and am living my semi-retirement dream at Pottery Playground.  We teach classes and sell our production lines of work.  On my days off, I paint in my studio at home.

I have recently been adding wax to my oil painting process, and focus on local impressionistic landscapes.   My passion for education and learning extends to my personal practice; I’m always interested in trying new techniques and I enjoy the challenges of commission work.  Please feel free to contact me with any special requests!
